Man fires gun in front of former job, flees scene, deputies search for suspect

<p><p>A former employee of Fisher’s Towing fired a gun in front of the business before fleeing the area early Monday morning. </p></p><p><p>Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Fisher’s Towing at 10803 E. Trent Ave. at about 4:30 a.m. after reports of shots fired in the area, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. </p></p><p><p>The owner of the towing company, who also lives at the address, told deputies that a former part-time employee came to the house and started yelling. The owner then heard a shot and went to the door to investigate, that’s when the former employee pointed a gun at him, yelled something, then took off, deputies said. No one was injured during the incident.</p></p><p><p>The owner said he doesn’t know why the former employee did this and there wasn’t any conflict between them. </p></p><p><p>Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspect. </p></p><p><p>Major crimes detectives were investigating on scene as of mid-morning Monday.</p></p>
